Checklist

April/May 2026

  1. Check your session schedule for the College/School Commencement 2026, register your attendance, and input the guest information (if any) between 27 April and 14 May 2026 via AIMS.
  2. Check and update contact information on AIMS to ensure the latest updates about the Commencement can be received.
  3. Get your academic dress ready for attending the ceremony. Please refer to CityUHK academic dress design to make sure that you get the right one.
 

June/July 2026

  1. Check if you and your guests have received the e-Tickets 2 working days before the Commencement day. 
  2. If you are a Bachelor's Degree graduate awarded First Class Honours/ summa cum laude/ magna cum laude/ cum laude, make sure you have collected your honour cord at the ARRO Service Centre before your session and wear it during the ceremony.
  3. Share the Notice for Visitors (嘉賓須知) with your guests and ensure they are familiar with the guidelines before the day of the ceremony.
  4. Attend your Commencement Session in person. 
  5. Check out the alumni affinity programmes and services. 
  6. Complete Student Learning Experience Survey 2026 (for UG only).
  7. Take graduation photos with your family and friends on campus from 20 June to 12 July 2026 (pre-registration on AIMS is required).
 

August/September 2026

  1. Collect your award certificate (please clear any outstanding matters, such as library fines or student loans, beforehand). Eligible graduates may collect their honour cord if they have not done so.
  2. Download the video of your Commencement Session and browse a gallery of highlight photos from the Commencement period.
  3. Complete the Academic Dress Rental Service Survey.
