Checklist
April/May
- Check your session schedule for the College/School Commencement 2024, register your attendance, and input the guest information (if any) between 26 April and 15 May 2024 via AIMS.
- Check and update contact information on AIMS to ensure the latest updates about the Commencement can be received.
- Get your academic dress ready for attending the ceremony. Please refer to CityU academic dress design to make sure that you get the right one;
- Modification to the guest information can be made on AIMS up to 4 working days before your Commencement session.
June/July
- Check if you and your guests have received the e-Tickets via the channels 2 working days before the Commencement day.
- Familiarise the location of the ceremonial hall with your guests.
- Attend your Commencement Session in-person or watch the live broadcast through the webcast platforms.
- Eligible graduates of Semester B 2023/24 will receive their Honour Cord at the Commencement.
- Checkout the alumni affinity programmes and services.
- Take graduation photos with your family and friends in campus during 22 June to 14 July 2024 by registration on AIMS.
August/September
- Collect award certificate (please clear any outstanding matters e.g., library fines/student loans beforehand). Bachelor's and Associate Degree graduates with First Class Honours/ summa cum laude/ magna cum laude/ cum laude/ Distinction will also get an Honour Cord if they have not yet collected.)
- Download the archived video and photos of your Commencement session.
- Complete the Academic Dress Rental Service Survey.
